Sonja Morgan Ordered To Pay $7 Million?

Sonja Morgan of Real Housewives of New York City has been ordered to pay $7 million after the United States Court of Appeal upheld the judgment against her for a failed movie venture.

Hannibal Pictures and its owner Richard Rionda del Castro allege Sonja is personally liable for fraudulent conduct after a movie she agreed to fund was not made, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“With the confirmation by one of the highest Courts of our country, the masks are falling and there is no longer any doubt that we were defrauded and severely damaged,” Rionda del Castro said in a statement. “We are now going to collect to the fullest extent of the law.”

Back in November, Sonja filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, claiming the movie, Fast Flash to Bang Time, was never made because John Travolta, the planned star of the film, needed “various conditions” that her company, Sonja Productions, couldn’t provide.

According to PopEater, Sonja listed in her petition that she was $19.8 million in debt with $13.5 million in assets.

Hannibal Pictures took Sonja to court after the deal fell apart and won the $7 million judgment.

The NY Housewives Cast Could Be Replaced

Look out Jill, Ramona, LuAnn, and Alex -- according to a new report, you're all on the chopping block.

Bravo executives were so overwhelmed with the success of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills -- their season finale was the highest-rated episodes in Housewives history -- they're looking at revamping the NYC franchise with all super-wealthy women with over-the-top lifestyles.

Producers believe that the hotel-sized mansions, stretch limos, diamonds, private jets, and record-setting divorce settlements that are part of the Bev Hills housewives' world, that made the show so appealing. They think the NYC show would perform better with that same feel.

So if you have Adrienne Maloof of Camille Grammer-size bank accounts, live in Manhattan, and have always wanted to be on reality TV, you may be in luck, reports The New York Post.

"We're always casting for new housewives in every city," a Bravo rep conceded to The Post. Would the cable net do a wholesale housecleaning and start the NYC show over with an entirely new cast? "We've never done that before," is all the rep would say.

Sonja Morgan Addresses 'Lesbian Tendencies'

In the preview video for the upcoming and delayed premiere of the Real Housewives of New York City we were given a tasty dose of Sonja Morgan vamping it up both with her words and her bloomers-revealing attire.

Miss Morgan has been playing the part of sex kitten out in her “real world” appearances as well. Her most recent public photo-op was at the New York Fireman’s Calendar event where she really turned up the heat for our brave hard working men from the NYC.

Just a few days ago she also appeared at the GLAAD media awards in New York City. During the red carpet walk the folks from Boy Culture caught up with her and asked her about the innuendos and suggestions from last season that she has “lesbian tendencies.”

Sonja Morgan To Get Dirty With Beekman Boys

Real Housewives of New York star Sonja Morgan is famous for the line: "I have a taste for luxury, and luxury has a taste for me” - so the last thing that comes to mind when you think of the socialite is getting down at the farm!

But Radar Online has exclusively learned that the reality star is a neighbor of The Fabulous Beekman Boys, and has requested to visit and even rake muck at their farm in Upstate New York.

“We met Sonja at an event at Henri Bendels and she told us she was raised on a farm,” best selling author and Beekman Boy Josh Kilmer-Purcell told Radar Online.

“She wants to come to the farm and visit, and even said she wants to muck the barn,” added Purcell’s partner in crime on the farm Dr. Brent Ridge.

“Sonja is going to be one of our special guests this season and the fact that she want to muck the barn adds a different dimension to her character, she is really sexy and cool.”

The farm has had several celebrity guests visit already, such as Rosie O’Donnell and Martha Stewart and plans to have even more, in fact, as Radar Online previously reported 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin is planning a trip with his daughter, Ireland.

“We have met such amazing people in our small town and we are thrilled to be part of making a difference for the locals. One woman earned more money at our festival then she had earned all year, and that feels great,” he added.

The pair are excited to kick off their second season and can’t wait for Sonja’s visit so they can make her a delicious meal from their upcoming cookbook that will be out this fall.

“She has made us some amazing meals at her place in Manhattan, so after a hard day on the farm we are planning to repay her with one of our yummy recipes,” Ridge said.

Meet Sonja Morgan's New Man Brian Farrell

What can viewers expect when the Real Housewives of New York City returns with season four on April 7? This preview offers an overall tease.

But let's get more specific: over at least the first two episodes, we'll meet Brian Farrell, a 42-year old artist who grew up in Long Island and is dating cast member Sonja Morgan.

According to his Facebook page, Farrell grew up with an alcoholic and physically abusive father. He subsequently battled depression and even attempted suicide on more than one occasion.

"Today, I am no longer drinking or take any medications," he writes on that social networking page. "I enjoy a healthy life of yoga, surfing, sleep and diet."

No word on whether or not Farrell is still dating Morgan, but she gushes about him on the premiere:

"We have all these hedge-fund banker friends together. I get my financing from them and they buy his paintings... He comes in these tight white T-shirts with the jeans hanging low."

Real Housewives of NY Premiere Date Finally Set

Get ready for more Big Apple drama, Housewives fans!

After a sudden schedule switcheroo in February that bumped the Real Housewives of New York City's fourth season premiere in favor of the Real Housewives of Miami's debut, the New York women finally have a premiere date.

Come April 7, Jill Zarin, Alex McCord, LuAnn de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon, Sonja Morgan and newcomer Cindy Barshop will be back on the air, the network announced via their BravoTV.com The Dish blog Monday.

"From the gang's glamorous jaunt to Morocco, to our already-favorite dig "thug in a cocktail dress" (delivered by the ultimate messenger, Alex McCord), to the Countess finding love again, the new season will definitely be worth the wait," the Bravo blog post read.

Brooklyn-based cast member McCord agrees, and tells Us Magazine fans should clear their calendars for Thursday nights.

"I think this is definitely the best season so far," McCord tells Us. "[But] there was no way they were going to get [editing] done in time."

The Real Housewives of New York City premieres April 7 at 10 p.m. (EST) on Bravo.
